With a moustache for health: How the men of Trystom spread awareness of prevention

There are 53 of us in Trystom, 49 of whom are men. Our men are using their moustaches to spread awareness about prostate, testicular and mental health cancer prevention. Did you know that from the age of 50, men have the right to be screened for prostate cancer by having blood taken? Just ask your GP. Did you know that testicular self-examination is easy? International Engineering Fair Brno 2024: SP Assembly opened a new year full of innovations

On 8 October 2024, the Assembly of the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic traditionally opened the 65th edition of the International Engineering Fair in Brno. Marek Švarc, Managing Director of Trystom and MMT, had the honour of being among the invited guests. After the opening address by Jan Rafaj, President of the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic, the guests were also able to listen to the Prime Minister Petr Fiala and the new Minister of Industry and Trade Jan Vlček. The SP Assembly programme was enriched by panel discussions on the revision of the Green Deal, financial support for exports to Ukraine, decarbonisation of industry and new technologies and human potential.

On 1 October we visited the conference Dynamics and Potential of Modern Technologies in the Context of Technical Education and Employment. Or how modern technologies are changing the demands on education and job competences. The conference took place in the beautiful surroundings of the Fortress of Knowledge in Olomouc. The aim of the conference was to promote cooperation between companies and technical secondary schools, to find inspiration on how to cultivate the education system and promote employment. For Trystom, the event was very inspiring and several ideas were born, which we will try to implement. Thumbs up for Trystom and thanks to the Innovation Centre of the Olomouc Region for organizing it.

We have completed another successful implementation of a customized machine for our long-term customer! Every project is a unique challenge for us and this order was no exception. The floods missed us this time, but our employees are helping where it is most needed

We experienced the 1997 floods firsthand. As a token of gratitude that the floods in Olomouc escaped us this time and as a show of solidarity with the affected areas, last week we organized a daily transport of our employee volunteers to the affected areas with the tools and equipment they needed for their work. We thank all our colleagues from Trystom, spol. s r.o. and MEDKONSULT medical technology s.r.o. for their support and willingness to help.

Satisfied employees are the key to Trystom's success

We can say about Trystom employees that they are really loyal to us. Half of our colleagues have been with us for more than 7 years. A third of our employees have been with us for more than 10 years. The oldest employee has been with us for 31 years - an electro-mechanic colleague remembers the founding of the company. Our accountant also boasts a nice number - 26 years, followed by our locksmith workshop manager - 24 years. The owner of the company, Marek Švarc, has been with Trystom for 18 years.
